Grillmöglichkeiten gibt es bei der Dünnbachhütte, sowie am Startpunkt. Bei der Lausbühlhütte befindet sich das Kulturdenkmal "Sandabbau". Außerdem führt die Runde am "Lothar-Gedenkstein" vorbei, der an den Okan 1999 erinnert.

Anfang und Ende der Rundtour sind wunderschön. Der mittlere Abschnitt ("Überzwercherweg") stellte sich jedoch als vielbefahrene Straße mit regem Rangierverkehr von Holzpellet-LKWs heraus.
